October is 'month of Kamiano' at PSA/MPET/ATS
According to annual tradition, the employees of PSA/MPET/ATS rolled up their sleeves and helped out during the weekly food distributions organized by wellfare organisation 'Kamiano'. During the entire month of October, Kamiano could count on the helping hands of many PSA/MPET/ATS volunteers, who assisted at the restaurant, as well at the gate, the sanitary unit and the clothing distribution.
Kamiano is part of the Sant’ Egidio community, which supports the poorest in our society. Twice a week, on Wednesday and Saturday, they offer warm meals to homeless people and their families. In addition, their doors are open every morning for acute care and support.
During the last two weeks of November our staff will also collect toys and reading books, which will be wrapped as Christmas presents and donated to Kamiano kids. In addition, our management will hand over a check worth € 12,000 to the organization. Enough for 1 month of food supply.
Social Responsibility
PSA, MPET and ATS have been supporting local communities for years. We do not only wish to perform an economic role in society, but also a social one. Numerous projects and organizations are dear to us. Since 2017, we chose to really make a difference through a single social goal: supporting and helping children and youngsters in precarious conditions.
