Colleagues exercise and paint for charity

Health

30 July 2024 - In the last two weeks of June, we once again joined forces for our annual ‘Moving for Charity’. The goal? 150,000 minutes of exercise to raise money for a good cause.

Moving for Charity is an initiative by PSA EuroMed and PSA Americas. A total of 575 colleagues, divided into 188 teams, participated and together they achieved 383,726 minutes of exercise. This is more than 252% of our original goal! This achievement is equivalent to burning 14.4 million calories and producing 4,711 liters of sweat. From PSA | MPET | ATS, 154 colleagues participated, divided into 50 teams. Together we collected 113,322 minutes of exercise, highlighting the strong commitment of our Belgian colleagues.

Support for City Pirates

With the proceeds from this event, we annually support the Antwerp football club City Pirates. This loyal partner of PSA | MPET | ATS provides children and young people with opportunities and assists in their personal development. In addition to football, City Pirates offers home and school visits, homework assistance, and various workshops.

In addition to our sporting efforts, colleagues from the communications team and several senior managers refurbished the changing rooms of City Pirates in Linkeroever. This painting activity ensures a fresh start for the new football season and an inspiring environment for the youth.

Through initiatives like Moving for Charity and our partnership with City Pirates, we aim to make a positive impact on society and the communities in which we operate. As you can see, our employees are also eager to contribute.
