Donation school materials City Pirates
1 October 2018 | September.. The new start of the schoolyear and the perfect opportunity to visit our new CSR partner City Pirates. Thanks to many volunteer actions organized by staff we were able to collect a nice amount of money, which was doubled by PSA/MPET/ATS. Part of the money was invested in office stationery and football equipment for City Pirate students.
City Pirates aims to be part of a warmer society with their powerful slogan "football the engine, social engagement the fuel, diversity the power!" They are a local football club, active in a number of complex neighborhoods in the city of Antwerp. Through football they want to give all Antwerp youngsters opportunities and learn skills with attention to equality, respect and commitment, with a view to a stable and balanced future. City Pirates serves as a guide, but it is up to the youngsters to realize their dreams.
Our staff visited a class of City Pirates situated at the Left Bank. The office stationary, going from writing tools, whiteboards to calculators etc, were received with a lot of laughter and enthusiasm! By providing those materials, youth coaches and homework supervisors can guide and support the youngsters with their homework even better!
We wish the football players a smooth and sportive school year!
PSA, MPET and ATS have been supporting local communities for years. We do not only wish to perform an economic role in society, but also a social one. Numerous projects and organizations are dear to us. Since 2017, we chose to really make a difference through a single social goal: supporting and helping children and youngsters in precarious conditions.
