Winners ATS Awards 2020
1 July 2020 | In addition to PSA Antwerp, also ATS awards two senior students of Thomas More Hogeschool Campus De Nayer (Bachelor Electromechanical Engineering) and GTI Beveren (7th year port technology) for the best bachelor thesis.
This year's winner at Thomas More Campus De Nayer was Sam Luffin, for his bachelor thesis 'Integration of weather data in process automation' performed at Actemium. Sam developed the hardware and software for a weather station to be used for industrial applications. His cusom-made weather system is currently being tested and will soon go into production. Sam wins a cheque of 1.500 euro. Congratulations, Sam!
The winner of the ATS award at GTI Beveren is Mathias Van Hove, for his work 'cat driving and topwork at a ZPMC crane'. He excelled with his technically strong work, good visualization and smooth spontaneous presentation.
And we took the bull by the horns; Mathias will start this month, as a technician at our crane department!
