Looking for the ideal candidate... in a Ferris wheel!

28 July 2023 - PSA Antwerp's HR team has been working at full speed this week. During the job fair at the 'Love Tomorrow' conference yesterday at De Schorre in Boom, they invited a dozen applicants for an interview on the 'Love wheel' Ferris wheel. 

A job interview on a Ferris wheel? It is possible! PSA Antwerp was one of the 25 employers participating in the unique job fair linked to the 'Love Tomorrow' conference.  For Jan Diels, manager Talent Acquisition, the participation was a way to put PSA back in the spotlight. "We always try to stand out from other employers and stand out as a dynamic company. And I must say that we succeeded this time too."

Ten candidates were invited, after an initial telephone screening. They all took a ride on the wheel with Jan, Eugenia or Cheyenne. "The result was informal and relaxed job interviews. We really took our time to have one-on-one interviews with people," Jan continues.

This is not the first time the HR team has highlighted our company in an original way. In September 2021, 'Apero in the Sky' took place and in 2018, candidates were flown by helicopter to the Deurganck dock for an interview.
